I replaced our hero button with an AI you can actually talk to

We just added a voice AI agent to the Remote Dream Team homepage. Not a floating blue bubble hiding in the corner. An actual button, right in the hero, next to “Let’s talk story.”

The idea was simple. A visitor lands on the site, reads the headline, and instead of only having a contact form as the next step, they get the option to talk. Ask about pricing. Ask what a Connect tier actually includes. Get an answer in seconds instead of waiting on a callback.

The tool itself took five minutes to wire up. GoHighLevel’s Voice AI widget drops onto any page with one script tag, embedded inline instead of floating. The harder problem showed up right after. It rendered in GoHighLevel’s default colors. White pill, blue phone icon, generic avatar circle. Fine for most businesses. Wrong for us.

We’re not most businesses. Every inch of remotedreamteam.com is dark navy and gold, right down to the serif headline and the checkmarks. A stock white and blue widget sitting next to our gold CTA button would have looked bolted on, like a plugin nobody bothered to theme.

So we didn’t accept the default. I opened Claude with live access to the site through the RDT Connect Engine, pointed it at the widget, and asked for the real fix: dark card background, gold border, gold gradient phone icon, bright white text. GoHighLevel doesn’t expose color controls for this particular widget style, so Claude reached into the widget’s own rendering at the browser level and restyled it directly, matching it to the brand.

Twenty minutes later the button was live. Same voice AI agent, same instant answers. Now it actually looks like it belongs on our site instead of someone else’s.

Try it yourself ↓

This is the same approach we use on client sites. Bring in whatever tool actually solves the problem, and refuse to ship it looking like a default install. Brand consistency isn’t a nice to have tacked on at the end. It’s part of the build.

Want a voice AI agent on your own site that actually looks like your business instead of a demo? That’s what we build.
